Combining MongoDB and Gregor/XSLT leads to a new XML database which is

  1. extremely fast
  2. highly scalable
  3. uses MongoDB querying coupled with XSLT to
    1. store and index information
    2. retrieve information and transform it into a desired format

We currently use the "Mongo XML" database in house for storage, analysis, and preprocessing of all O'Reilly EPUB eBooks.
